May married Ben and raised Peter until Ben was shot and killed by Dennis Carradine. She now raises Peter alone and is aware of Peter's love for Mary Jane. When Peter is going to ask her to marry him, May gives Peter the engagement ring Ben gave her when they married and teaches him about forgiveness and is present when George Stacy reveals Flint Marko is Ben's actual killer.
